Who walks into which room
Pdfmira is for creatives and students. The masthead says as much. PDF to JPG is a spread, not a chore. Compress images sits beside JPG to PNG as if they were contents of an issue. Paperza is for anyone who found a converter because Tuesday demanded one. Giant dropzone. Warm type. No running head.
Same controller. Two editorial policies. Send a parent to Paperza. Keep the lookbook here.
The page as object
Our chrome is magazine: issue line, index, colophon, plates. Paperza’s chrome is almost absent — which is the point of that product. On Pdfmira the studio bench is meant to feel like a light table. You do not rush a light table. You also do not use a light table to merge condominium minutes unless you enjoy the ritual.
A light table costs time. That cost is the feature when the sheet is visual: you check crop, weight, whether the scan is good enough to print. That cost is waste when the sheet is a form. Paperza refuses the ritual so the errand ends. Pdfmira keeps the ritual so the plate can be judged. If you came from a search for ‘pdf to jpg’ because a teacher asked for photos of pages, stay. If you came because a clerk asked for one PDF, the parlour is kinder — and you can say so without a fake review.
Batch
Neither of us is Fileliq. A directory of forty receipts wants a queue, not a spread. Pdfmira will convert; it will not make the queue your identity. If you came for one plate, you are in the right issue. If you came for a stack, you are reading the wrong masthead.
The index will still list merge and split. Those verbs are available. They are not why the running head says images plus PDF. Do not measure this studio by how fast it clears a folder. Measure it by whether you can see the page before you commit the export. Fileliq will reverse that sentence. Paperza will refuse both folder and plate in favour of a hello. Three honest rooms.
Privacy, in the colophon
Files are not a gallery archive. Retention is short; privacy and cookies say so without a gazette masthead. That gazette is Cifradocs. Paperza is warmer still. Choose by how much ceremony you need. The name in the colophon does not change: Giannico Costantiello, same street in Turi.
Visual, not generic consumer
This is images plus PDF. Paperza is generic consumer. Photos into PDF, extract images, watermark as a cover mark — those lines belong here. Merge-and-done belongs there. The rates page is a listino, not a hug.
Visible ink: fifteen-second errand, or ink on the plate
Sometimes the PDF is not a conversion. It is a proof to mark, or a signature of pages to tidy. On Paperza, Sign PDF is a fifteen-second commission: PNG at the foot, download, send. Edit PDF rotates, drops, reorders. The parlour of receipts. Here the same family of gestures sits on the light table: sign is ink on the plate, judged at cover size before you take the file. Edit is a lookbook you refuse to send with a blank leaf still in. Same controller — Giannico Costantiello, VAT 08910530727, Turi. Two voices, one person.
Neither room issues a qualified electronic signature. No SPID, no CIE, no eIDAS from a converter. If the brief asked for a certificate, this house is not the counter. If it asked for a name in the footer, Paperza closes the errand; Pdfmira treats it as a proof you look at. Choose the room, not a star.
Office is still a draft. AI is not on press.
PDF to Word will not keep a magazine grid. Lossy — here, there, everywhere. Do not send a designed spread through Office and expect the plate back. Keep PDF when layout is the product.
AI tools are coming soon. They are not live converters. No model will crop your cover or write a caption today. When they exist, they get a line in the index, not a halo on the masthead.
Stay on the bench
Stay if you came to see the sheet. Paperza if you came to be finished. Colophon: the controller, the VAT, the address. Then open the tools or ask the desk.
A Sunday layout is not a clerk’s Tuesday. On Sunday you want crop, weight, whether the scan is a plate. On Tuesday you want the file gone. Pdfmira is the Sunday room even when the calendar says Wednesday — if the work is visual. Paperza is the Tuesday room even when you are a designer — if the work is an errand. Send the URL that matches the work, not the identity of the person. Identities wander. Files do not.
The light table will still list merge and split because a studio must bind pages. That does not make us a consumer dropzone. The dropzone will still export JPG because an errand sometimes needs a photo. That does not make Paperza a magazine. Keep the issue honest. Look, export, leave. No stars in the colophon.
A plate is not an errand.
